One of my favorite games of all time
I didn't know when I played this game, that it would be one of the best gaming experiences of my life. Never really been a fan of puzzle or sukoban games, but this game is really something special. Thank you.

Best game ever
Looking back at this trailer almost a year later, and this is a masterclass in conveying the mood and visuals and FEEL of the game without actually telling you anything. There's so many things going on that will not make any sense until you're dozens of hours into the game, and even then will take some thinking about. And it doesn't even show the basic puzzle mechanic of the game! At all!

I played Void Stranger back at the beginning of the year, but I keep coming back and watching this trailer again because it really is immaculate. Honestly one of the best trailers I've ever seen for anything. It perfectly captures the vibe of the game and somehow does so without ever even showing the primary game mechanic.

Currently playing through ZeroRanger for the first time, game is SO good I want to get this immediately after finishing it just to see what other gold the devs have made
Remember, when the game (Zero Ranger) appears to be over, keep playing. Some people never get to play the last stretch of the game because they quit too quickly.
@@Caballaria-sc2sjWhat are you referring to by this? I can’t think of a moment in ZeroRanger where someone would quit the game early like that.
@@gooeyPhantasm Hey, sorry for replying late. To explain I’ll refer to the Zero Ranger playthrough on the TripleMoon youtube channel. The main moment where it looks like the game has ended is the part that starts at 46:50 in that video. As you can see there is a whole fake ending sequence! A naive player might quit then. Another point where one might quit comes earlier, at 32:00. That is the start of the second loop. I know at least one person in the world stopped at that point, because he thought the game was just looping back and there would be no more content.

HUOM - HARMAA - JISUTALCIKHMAIAIMASSUSMAYOS According to google translate, first two translate to Note and Gray respectively in Finnish, the third is probably several Finnish words strung together, but I can't parse it.
The third one is JULKAISUMYOSITCHIOSSASAIMAA when you read it right to left, and row by row (so not like in the game). It can be broken down like this: "Julkaisu myös itchiossa! Saimaa!" It means "Also published on itchio! Saimaa!" (so basically what's written below).
It's crazy that I'm listening to the OST of one of my favorites shmups on the channel of someone who ended up making one my absolute favorite shmups :D

having reached the first ending and not even having scratched the surface if the game in all 30+ hours ive put into it in a single weekend, i can tell you that for even as epic as this trailer is, it doesnt even begin to encapsulate how incredible the game has been. its being pitched to you as a simple sokoban. it is so, so much more than that. do you remember why youre here?
